Artis Trade Systems (“Artis”) announces it has expanded its supply chain finance (SCF) software platform (ArtisPay) to include foreign currency capabilities, allowing its SCF to service international lenders and banks. On April 12th, Artis entered into its first international agreement with a London-based merchant bank specializing in investing, lending, corporate finance and advisory work.

The client contacted Artis during the vetting of several international SCF software providers. Following an extensive review covering several months, the client selected Artis based on the design, ease of use and functionality of the software platform, and the expertise of the Artis team. The client’s realization was that ArtisPay was designed to equally serve the lender, buyer and supplier – whereas other platforms were skewed to either the buyer or a marketplace model. The ethos, that ArtisPay is “built for Lenders by Lenders,” was proven true for this client.

Equally important for this client was finding a partner that was entrepreneurial and focused on their success. This was demonstrated by Artis in early discussions with this client, and Artis’s willingness to quickly add international and multicurrency functionality to the ArtisPay platform to optimize the lender’s effectiveness in international markets.
